Achilles International, Inc.

Achilles International will enter athletes with disabilities in the prestigious Mayor's Cup New York City Kayak Championships. Two competitors are members of the Achilles Freedom Team of Wounded Veterans. Both wounded while fighting in Iraq. These soldiers will join other Achilles athletes to compete in the Elite Kayak Marathon, New York's premier paddle sports event. Achilles is thrilled with New York City's Sports Commission's commitment to equality and inclusion. Prize money will be given to the top finishers and there will be an award for the top disabled finisher.
